In the recent chin surgery (Mentoplasty) to correct jutting jawline, pre-surgery procedure where orthodontic treatment performed after the jaw surgery has shown the clear advantage compared to post-surgery procedure; preventing deterioration of occulusion and overall appearance which often occur when the orthodontic treatment is done prior to jaw surgery, and also able to shorten the time required for orthodontic treatment.
