Dept, of Colorectal Surgery specializes in Colorectal Surgery. Annually, we perform 300 ~ 500 cases of Colorectal surgery and 90% of them were operated by laparoscopy. Since July 2007, 20% of the cases were undertaken by Robotic Surgery(De Vinci).
On 2008, our advanced robotic surgery was published both in a guidebook and full-length DVD by Intuitive Surgical Ⓡ, USA. It will be used as a text book for De Vinci Low Anterior Resection all through the world.

Oriental Medicine Center

Diabetes Center was opened in 2007 with the motto to be Korea's first dedicated center for diabetes; it benchmarked the best practices from Joslin Diabetes Center in the USA and Tokyo Diabetes Center in Japan, the largest diabetes center in Asia. At the Diabetes Center, a team of physicians, dietitians, and exercise physiologists work together to provide preventive care to the potential diabetic patients and teach prevention methods and education in order to prevent and cure the disease. Blood test and other complication tests are done at the central area within the center.

U-Healthcare System has helped implementing the true meaning of ‘Patient Oriented Smart Hospital’ as the patients can readily access into their own account to register their condition, which then can be checked by the doctors via various mobile devices.
