Orthopedic Surgery is a medical area involved with extensive care for patients with musculoskeletal diseases including spine and limbs and trauma, and ranges from conservative care to surgical procedures. With the rising elderly population, an increase in sports activities and a growing number traffic accidents, the number of patients with musculoskeletal diseases is increasing. To follow up this trend, the department is divided into the artificial joint clinic, the arthroscopy clinic, the spinal clinic, the shoulder joint clinic and the foot clinic, to improve the quality and quantity of medical services. Under the department motto of being genuine people who share pleasure with others, the Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery at Ilsan Hospital supports consultation and research to enhance the satisfaction of individual employees, and facilitates recreation activities internally, while making great efforts to enhance patients’ treatment outcomes and satisfaction externally.
