our Specialty
Cervical Dystonia
Cervical Dystonia, Spasmodic Torticolis and Brain Nerve Damage Disorders
• Causes
Upper Cervical Subluxation and Abnormality of Brain Nerve System due to imbalance of TMJ
Tertiary nerves around TMJ area are concatenated to atlas and axis along the brain stem. Thus, abnormalities in TMJ cause atlantoaxial subluxation, which provides negative signal to brain nerve system. This leads to an error in brain nerve system that causes involuntary cramps, spasm and pain.
• Symptoms
Main symptoms include abnormal contraction of cervical and surrounding muscles that cause pain, thus, it is difficult to keep your head straight forward. The condition generally worsens and induces neck ache when you stand up or walk. You may also feel you head and chin tremble, and abnormal muscle contractions.
• Other Disorders due to Brain Nerve Damages
Lee Young June Korean Medicine Clinic also treats Parkinson’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Spinocerebellar Denegeration, Stroke Sequelae, Myasthenia Gravis, Unidentified Paralysis, Epilepsy, Convulsive Disease, Autism, and Tic & Tourette’s Syndrome as well using non-surgical procedure, and has presented a number of case studies via YouTube and official website.

TMJ and Facial Asymmetry
• Cause
Asymmetry of TMJ causes temporomandibular disc, one-sided wear of teeth, and skewing of mandible, which becomes a root cause of facial asymmetry and TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder).
Lower mandible is connected to ligaments, muscles, fascia, and sphenoid bone that forms the skull, and also linked with temporal, occipital, hyoid and upper cervical spine indirectly through neuromuscular system. Especially, 9 cranial nerves and 136 (68 pairs) muscles around TMJ hyper contract and strained due to imbalance of TMJ directly influencing one’s face and the structure of a skull. For this reason, TMD and facial asymmetry are closely related and generally occurs simultaneously.
• Symptoms
Lee Young June Korean Medicine Clinic can treat most of TMJ pian, trismus, TMJ noise, habitual dislocation of jaw, and bruxism. Most of facial asymmetry, mandibular deviation class 2&3 malocclusions, partial cross bite, and facial asymmetry due to open bite, and deep bite can be treated safely and quickly with non-surgical procedure –FCST (Functional Cerebro Spinal Technique). (The treatment procedure only takes over 3~6 months in general, which is much shorter than traditional surgical procedures.)
• Core Therapy
TMJ Balance Therapy / Cervical Balance Therapy / Facial Asymmetry Balance Therapy
• Supplementary Therapy
Spinal Posture Balance Therapy / Pelvic Posture Balance Therapy / Special Chuna Therapy / Cupping Therapy / Herbal Medicine / Exercise Therapy: Stretching exercise including jaw, neck, body, and walking exercise
Tic and Tourette's Syndrome
• Causes
Upper Cervical Subluxation and Abnormality of Brain Nerve System due to imbalance of TMJ
Imbalance of TMJ >> Distortion of Sphenoid Bone >> Error in Brain Nerve System + Abnormality in Cerebrospinal Fluid Circulatory System >> Abnormality in Neurotransmitters >> Generation of Interference Signal >> Occurrence of Tic & Tourette Syndrome
• Symptoms
Tic disorders refer to involuntary motor or phonic tics that are sudden, rapid, non-rhythmic, and stereotyped. Tourette Disorder is diagnosed when both motor and phonic tics are present for more than a year.
Lee Young June Korean Medicine Clinic is specialized in treating tic & tourette syndrome that is generally considered as incurable. A number of case studies are distributed through YouTube to introduce Lee Young Jun’s evolutionary treatment method. Lee Young Jun Korean Medicine Clinic also focuses on various mental illness including depression, anxiety insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, hallucination auditory disorders and etc.
